Join HCI’s Discover Programme and take part in a life-changing experience that combines purposeful travel with hands-on humanitarian work. Participants will fundraise to support those in need, then travel to visit and actively engage in HCI projects on the ground.

This unique opportunity allows community members to witness the impact of their efforts firsthand, while working alongside HCI staff to support sustainable development in underserved regions. Rooted in the value of Ihsan, striving for excellence with sincerity and compassion, this programme is more than just a trip. It’s a call to serve with heart, act with intention, and contribute to lasting change in the lives of others.

Frequently Asked Questions

Who is able to join?

Anyone! As long as you are able, anyone is welcome to join. You would have to meet the expected fundraising target to proceed on our trips.

If you have any medical conditions that you believe are important for us to know, it is important that you communicate them, as we want to be able to provide you with the best and safest ways to bring an impact in the world.

Can I bring my child or parent?

Of course. With regard to children and their age, depending on the country, we will advise you on whether it is appropriate to bring your child with you. Our programmes involve long hours and a lot of physical activity.

As for parents, of course! They would also be asked to fundraise in order to meet their required fundraising target.

What makes me eligible?

As soon as you reach your fundraising target, you are eligible to join a trip!

Reaching one fundraising target qualifies you for one humanitarian trip.

What are the fundraising targets?

Each country will have its own fundraising target:

Canada: CAD 7,000
United States: USD 5,000
United Kingdom: GBP 4,000
Europe: EUR 5,000

Can I raise funds more than once?

Of course! You can fundraise more than once. The more you raise, the more opportunities you will have to join us on different trips.

What can I expect?

The team will contact you using the information you provide in the sign-up form. You will be asked to raise a specific amount. Once you have successfully reached your target, the team will contact you to discuss the next steps, including travel arrangements.

Your main point of contact will be the trip leads, who will assign you to a trip and group based on everyone’s availability. If you are unable to make one trip, another opportunity will be available to you.

Don’t stress! You will be travelling with experienced experts, and your needs are our Amanah. We will take care of everything from start to finish.
