Emergency Flood Relief for Pakistan

A Journey of Recovery and Hope

650+ lives lost. 930+ injured. Thousands displaced. Immediate help needed

The Crisis

Heavy monsoon rains have devastated Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Azad Jammu and Kashmir, and Gilgit Baltistan.

  • 650+ dead, 930+ injured
  • 1,900+ homes destroyed
  • 124 bridges washed away
  • 450 km of roads damaged

Sudden cloudbursts of 150 mm in one hour submerged entire villages

In Buner District, one village lost 375 of its 400 homes

Families are displaced, trapped, and cut off from food and essentials. Heavy rains are expected to continue into September.

Our Response

Within 36 hours, Human Concern UK mobilised to reach remote communities in Swat and Buner, delivering:

  • Hot meals and clean drinking water
  • Emergency shelter kits
  • Essential food packages

We continue to assess and respond to the unprecedented level of damage.
