When the world feels like it’s falling apart, it’s easy to feel powerless.
But you didn’t stay on the sidelines. You acted.
You helped push 5.9 million meals into Gaza, through sealed borders, collapsed markets, and endless checkpoints. You told over 300,000 people, “You’re not alone.”
And while that’s incredible, the truth is this: the need is still growing. Every meal you send today is another day a family can survive tomorrow.
That’s 58,240 food boxes, each one a lifeline.
Each one tells a family, “Someone sees you, even here.”
In a place where grocery stores are empty and movement is restricted, your gift is more than food. It is a reason to keep going.
But how does aid get in when Gaza’s borders are sealed and markets have collapsed? How is your compassion reaching them? Let’s break it down.
By May 2025, Gaza had crossed into catastrophic territory.
Food insecurity here isn’t just skipping meals. It means:
With farms, bakeries, corner shops, and water systems destroyed, it is not that food is expensive. There is no food to buy.
Markets are inaccessible. Roads are crumbled. Movement is restricted.
Still, people hold on. Still, they hope. Still, they survive.
But survival should not be left to chance.
That’s where you come in.
And that’s why we need to keep going.
In response to this worsening crisis, Human Concern UK launched a large-scale emergency food aid program in Gaza.
And it is not symbolic. It is massive.
Your support has made this possible:
This isn’t just logistics. It’s a strategy. Every number is a calculated response to real suffering. Every box is a lifeline. In a place where everything is restricted, every delivery matters.
You might wonder, Why a month’s worth? Why not hand out meals daily?
Because emergency response is not only about relief. It is about restoring dignity.
When a family receives food that lasts weeks instead of hours, they regain the ability to plan, to cook, and to serve meals to their children like they used to.
It reduces stress. It prevents dangerous overcrowding at distribution points. It gives families breathing space to grieve, to recover, and to survive.
Each box is designed not only for nutrition but for cultural relevance, cooking ease, and family cohesion.
In Gaza, almost everyone is suffering. But our aid prioritises:
In moments like these, inclusion matters. Every community has people who are overlooked. We aim to reach them first.
At the same time, the Human Concern UK’s team works tirelessly to deliver aid wherever access is possible. If there is a door open, even slightly, we’ll find it. And we’ll walk through with food in hand.
So how exactly do we move nearly 6 million meals into a war-torn region?
Every donation fuels this process. $1 = 1 meal. Simple, powerful, and efficient.
Our food is procured from vetted vendors in Jerusalem, ensuring quality, local proximity, and speed. We also source through Lebanon, using the Cyprus Maritime Humanitarian Corridor, a secure shipping route recognized by global aid authorities. This two-pronged approach reduces risk, increases volume, and gives us flexibility when border permissions change.
It takes 28 trucks, dozens of approvals, and countless checkpoints. Aid enters Gaza mainly through the Kerem Shalom crossing, timed within humanitarian access windows.
Local partners and distribution teams deliver quickly to registered families, prioritizing shelters, refugee camps, and isolated communities. Our registration platform is built on vulnerability indicators, so we know exactly who needs the most help.
We stay connected with families, collecting feedback on what worked and what they need next. We compile robust impact data to ensure every dollar is used effectively.

Behind each of those meals is a moment: a parent crying in relief, a child smiling over a plate of lentils, a family gathering despite the chaos outside.
You are not only sending calories. You are sending hope.
That box tells a family they are not forgotten. That even across oceans, someone still cares.
In Gaza, hope is fuel. It keeps people moving, fighting to live, and dreaming of normal days.
The crisis is not over. Families are still waiting.
